Didn't know that story! That is so sweet! Man, they must have really rocked in Reseda. I was in Moorpark and we got hit pretty hard...but nothing like the valley. It was like a war zone. I remember having to drive surface streets for months to get to Burbank Airport because the 118 freeway had collapsed in Northridge. And I remember being so thankful that I'd finished my degree work at CSUN. The campus was in a shambles and they were taking classes in bungalows. That winter the rains came and the campus was a mud pit. What a mess. Have the replaced or removed the condemned buildings Roscoe in Northridge??? OG

I knew that I was going to marry her. We went out on our first date a week later. I spent the day boarding up the windows at her house. Much cheaper than a ring..Probably more effective..She can't get out, right? My sister was going to move back to Tx. after the Northridge quake..but then she got back into her routine and years have past. I figure the next big one in the area will signal me to begin the "househunt". BTW--I started as a Geology major in college as well. Petroleum industry woes changed my mind. I've always been glad I learned all I did...except for memorizing the table of elements and some formulas that were extremely long and useless. Faulted beds and rock outcroppings thrill me to this day.
