Thanks for posting Martin Spring's article on the resurgence of gold.

Somehow, I found the article very easy to read compared with a number of other articles at www.gold-eagle.com which often tend to assume that readers already have much prior knowledge of certain fundamentals.

It's great to have a different Martin writing on gold instead of that Martin whose ARM once seemed so STRONG before.

I suppose you must have held on to your gold mining shares throughout the time when gold seemed doomed forever? Well, I am glad I held on to mine and am glad gold has come back sooner than I thought was possible.

It was relatively easy making some money, at least on paper, especially from almost all junior gold-mining stocks right before the Bre-X Fiasco. But I guess this time around it will not be as easy despite gold being on the comeback trail.

A number of mining analysts and presenters at the recent mining conference held in Calgary, Alberta, October3/4, waxed enthusiastic about gold going to the moon! One of them said he felt it in his blood!!! A couple of them were, however, cautious and said they hope the European Central Banks would not break their word. And, almost to a man, they all recommended buying gold mining shares NOW!!! rather than later. (Of course, at that time, they did not know which mining companies have hedged gold or shorted it heavily).

Besides gold, some analysts believe that zinc, because of projected shortages, will be on the upswing soon! Of course, if China devalues her Yuan anytime soon, the upswing might be delayed temporarily or derailed altogether.
