toom is other-worldly..This may sound bizarre, but I think Augie Myers lends a ton of something to that recording..I can't seem to ever get "Not Dark Yet" out of my head. That tune makes me cry..and smile. It's one of my favorites. Play it at my wake, OK? He made toast of Simon when he pulled that one out during his set....I'm afraid, and I could be in the minority, that Paul vs. Bob is like comparing apples to raisins. How about "Wrecking Ball"? another Lanois masterpiece..IMO, of course. Ever heard of Terry Allen? BTW--Love the shot of TGFOS on your profile.
