Have I ever told you about the time my apartment flooded, when I was at LSU? Coincidentally, it was a very stormy night, lots of thunder, lightening, and very heavy rain, and also coincidentally, I was extremely tired, and was sleeping like the dead, on my mattress on the floor.

I dreamed that I was on a raft, floating in the ocean.

And then, when I woke up, saw that the apartment was full of water, a couple of inches deep. I was groggy, and assumed that there had been a flood from the rain, and opened the door to see that it was sunshiny and the rain had stopped and was almost evaporated. It took me quite a while to understand what happened. Turns out the guy upstairs had sinus problems, left the shower running to make steam, and the shower plugged up and ran over.

Well, actually, it wasn't my apartment, it was my boyfriend's apartment, and we really weren't getting along so good anyway, so after helping him haul everything outside, I was able to go back to my own, clean, dry apartment.
