I think Francois is lying through his teeth. I've not heard anything about new restrictions on shorting from my brokers. They'd have surely informed me such a development by now. But, I'll check on it Monday and let you know.

Dunno about the Canucks Jimbo, I always have a domestic borrow, that stuff up North is a bit to risky for me. I would not recomend it. In fact, I'd recomend shorting stocks where the float just goes up geometrically, like say ASTN...
