Some (still more) random thoughts:

Taking .19 x 4 = .76 as a base, and KP's projected 30% growth rate:

1. If NITE earns 30% more in 2000, or .99 (as opposed to the current First Call estimate of 1.42), it would trade at the following price-points in mid-January 2001 given the follwing p.e.s:

30 p.e. = 29.70
20 p.e. = 19.80
18 p.e. = 17.82

2. If NITE again earns 30% in 2001, or 1.29 (as opposed to the current First Call estimate of 1.75), it would trade at the following price-points in mid-January 2002 given the following p.e.s:

30 p.e. = 38.70
20 p.e. = 25.90
18 p.e. = 23.22

3. Blankmind, while you are taking .76 as a base, I don't think the analysts are of this mindset at all. For example, Sean Chin at MER (for what it is worth) just RAISED his 2000 earnings estimate from 1.40 to 1.45 (based upon reduced tax rate): We are keeping our recently lowered 1999 estimate of $1.20 and raising our 2000 estimate from $1.40 to $1.45 due to a lower tax rate..
