<<...my recent long at 6 and change is one of the most easily identifiable losers I have ever had. I am out on Monday morning.>>>

Don't be too quick to sell just yet. If you hold out another month or two you can take advantage of all the Newbies and Iomaniacs who will once again see the glitzy Iomega booth at Comdex and get stars in their eyes and figure that Iomega can only make money and sell a lot of stuff going forward. What a laugh.

What a tragic lack of understanding of the modern computer and digital camera markets. The fact that Zip revenues and Zip Disk unit sales are DECLINING underscores this.

But one can easily take advantage of their lack of foresight if one SELLS during the very cyclical onrush of Newbie Iomega Investors that invariably occurs around Comdex time and ends with 4th Q results.

My advice is to SELL sometime in December. IOM may even make it into the $6's, but this is in no way guaranteed. MY target is $6.50 and I'm automatically out. I accumulated recently with an average in the very low $3's. I will settle for less if I feel it has topped out after Comdex. But I will not get caught in the inevitable downdraft that will once again drag IOM down into the abyss starting in January.

I don't like investing in DECLINING and SHRINKING Companies- companies like Iomega.
