Does anyone here know if and when MU is presenting at "Semicon SouthWest 99", Oct 18-20, Austin, Texas? It looks to me like Monday and part of Tuesday will be down days for MU (and the whole market for that matter). A bit of a bounce off some resistance or other will likely materialize sometime on Tuesday and carry into Wednesday. Slide down may resume before too long, though. Land_Lubber

"They" would need to get it over the 50-DMA (looks like about 71.8 or so) PDQ to get me long. Being this close to the 50 and failing to break it on a tight range is bad, and on a big range is bad too. (This would be the fourth day in a row completely below it.) The 20-DMA is 73.5 or so and dropping about a half point a day. Tick tick tick! Too early to try to guess if the day's top is already in, although it looks like people ain't buying anything from Danny today. Gonna wait to see what tricks They have planned for the broad markets in the afternoon before taking a position (which will probably be short). If the day's goal is to sell a lot of MU to the public, they didn't do enough at the open to call it a day.
