Always loved Nikos Kzantzakis....Herman Hesse. both nobels, both vastly influential and ahead of their times .

Saw "last Temptation of Christ", for the first time the other
evening...it was as brilliant as the book. Music and sound by peter gabriel...a beautifully real and exquisitely honest look at the life of a tortured messiah...who knew for that time he lived, nothing short of his own death would be enough to act as a catalyst to reach thru mens fear and greed...

Herman Hesse= Siddartha, Steppenwolf, Magister Ludi...

Siddartha , yet another incredibly brilliant human soul, who preached a source of enlightenment within all of us, in which the attainment need not rest upon tortured crosses, but letting go of desires. Easier said than done! masterfully recreated and lived vicariously, by another mortal living 2600 years later...beautifully influential for many generations of this century.

ah , what a piece of work is man, what a rare and beautiful world...
