CDMQ -

However, the company will book a loss in the first quarter because of the sale, the analyst says

Firstly can someone pls remind me when the earnings are going to be announced.

But presumably only due to the write down of assets being disposed of that are included in the sale or no longer needed. The ongoing business will still show good gains.

Also presumably any deal will include an element that will be desigend to take the sting out of this one-off loss on sale of a art of the business that is being sold. I mean that whoever buys it will want to carry on in CDMA and therefore will ahve to pay royalty and may want other long term benefits so that the Q1 "loss" if any can be minimized.
