I also tried a Fuji2700, but find the nikon pictures look better, even though the Fuji has more pixels.

I tried out a Fuji MX2900. It seems the trend for the time being is to create point-and-shoot digital cameras that look like full-fledged SLR's. I have liked the Fuji line from the MX700 to MX2700 to MX2900 and would have seriously considered buying if they used CompactFlash.

Newer cameras including the Epson PhotoPC 850Z are taking on an entirely new look.

I am still holding out for an SLR with interchangeable lenses.
