Yes, and so people don't misunderstand me I am not calling for a crash because of the correlation. The 1999 chart correlates with some other less drastic years. Moreover, there are some fundamental differences between now and 1987. But I will say that "caution" is the word now because there are some forces coming together which could really pressure the market short term.
