OK, how about this. The Creative Accounting at Lucent piece shows up on Monday on TSCM and other journals and after reading it many of us shrug and say, "Oh well, its creative and many others are doing it. Lets focus on product growth and buildout opportunities going forward". And from what we know that looks pretty darn good. Then what ? Suddenly the Bears find that their ammunition clip is empty and all they can use their gun for is to dig a hole. Another point not been mentioned at all. Remember how well Lucent was doing well internationally from their last Q report ? With the dollar having sunk since then their revenues could get a boost from that too. -Hitesh
