I don't think theres enough widespread fear to generate the kind of downside some are predicting, fwiw. The problem with SI is the bear threads are too bearish, they do all these comparisons to 1929, etc. This is only the second internet xmas. Lizzie, I wanted to come back to this post because I believe you touched on something which I'm thinking a lot of people are keeping in the back of their minds as highlighted in the above. I'm wondering (because I only stick to threads of stocks I happen to be following at the time, or the Coffee Shop) are there any threads currently in existence focusing on plays for the forthcoming holiday season, or if there is enough interest to contribute to an old unused thread or new thread, stocks which are probable to appreciate prior to the holiday season? I, personally, have been trying to identify stocks which could see considerable upside during the latter part of November and most of December prior to the 25th like those we all witnessed last year, some of us too late, believing history could repeat itself.
