Not dead yet. I see shares trading every day even though it is halted so someone is still buying - but things look pretty bleak for now.

Today we have already traded 21K shares at 1/4 and 12K shares at 17/64 - someone sure thinks ALTA will rise from the dead. I don't understand how a halted stock trades - but there is volume on ALTAQ every day and now it seems to be moving up. Volume is 44500 so far today.

Hi Goldbug, I can get a price quote for ALTA on several services. I use LII on Etrade and it always provides a price quote but no bid or ask. Does anyone out here know why ALTA is trading some fair volume every day but I can never pull up a quote with a bid or ask. Even on the BB stocks I get a bid and ask for them but not on ALTA. Yahoo service doesn't even provide a quote. It just says no such ticker symbol. Although I did get a price using this symbol for a couple of days some time back - it no longer works. It just seems that everyone is trying to keep ALTA a secret. i don't know if that is good or bad. Maybe all of the lurkers here can log in with a comment or two so we will have an idea if folks are still watching ALTA or not.
