Coppermine has a 256K high speed L2 cache to match against Athlon's 128K L1 cache.

Integer benchmarks which use a working data set of size greater than 128K, and smaller than 256K will probably run faster on Coppermine than they do on Athlon. So, for the time being, Intel has a memory latency performance advantage for certain benchmarks.
