Steve,

Ascom is playing a pretty big part of this. It's not like they need the cash right away the way they are just leaking shares on to the market. It almost seems they are punishing IDX from my perspective, FWIW. Can't imagine why they would be. If Randy thought that IDX should be just a 15-16 dollar stock you would think IDX would be buying Ascoms shares in a heartbeat, and not to just support an eight dollar price.

Technically... IDX is looking kind of wishy-washy here. Clearstation has the beginning of a downtrend signaled with the MACD just below centerline... could go either way... everybody seem to be in a wait and see mood, except Ascom. Oct blues, poor reaction to Fowlers interview, bad earnings expected, why would anyone want to buy??? Hope Randy gives some good words at the meeting. Might be difficult in having to answer unfriendly questions from unhappy shareholders...

SI sure seems to have changed David. Might be a pretty good reflection of the current market. The biometric companies in general have not been doing anything in the recent weeks. Maybe after OCT, and the end of the year tax selling,(the recent 8.50-9.50 buyers come to mind), and the Y2K worry warts, things might turn to the positive.

Haven't been finding to much on the net. Been going through my bookmarks and finding many sites that had referenced IDX in some manner to be gone. From the lack of IDX showing up new hits on the net, no web references to IDX may be part of IDXs plan to control IDXs' info business...(my contribution to conspiracy theories:))

Here is a short count page for you Brad, bookmark it! :)

Firms are required to report their short positions as of settlement on the 15th of each month. A compilation is published eight business days after. This should put the new numbers on or about the 27th.

Have a wierd schedule Ron, Some nighttime some daytime. I'm part of the reason for disgruntled motorist here in Southern California. We have a lot of freeway construction happening for the time being. We've compounded traffic by trying to fix it. Enjoy your stay and ask Randy some of the tuff questions.
