DlphcOracl,

No, sorry I haven't been following SNDK. They are somewhat a unique company. They are very much a semiconductor company, but they are always mentioned in reference to the disk drive industry because of their storage technology. Hard to make a call about the impact that the earthquake in Taiwan will actually have on the industry. Could very well be overblown - making buying companies like SNDK a good bet in this downturn.

Another stock which I did buy after a huge 60% cut was CNQR, Concur Technology. A software company whose products are a suite of business applications for businesses to streamline traditional "paper work" type activities and transactions (e.g. travel expense and bookings management). Their stock price got chopped a couple weeks ago due to very similar reasons as UIS - warning of less revenues than expected. However, in their case, I believe that a large part of that problem was due to some end of quarter sales not closing when expected. I think there is a tremendous opportunity here to take advantage of this dramatic price slash. I think the company will do well, but it may just take a little longer than some expected. Again, unless the company is headed for bankruptcy, for which there is no indication and in fact very much to the contrary, gaps like what CNQR experienced will be filled - just don't know how long it will take.

Anyway, wish I could offer better opinion on SNDK, but will have to research some more.

Good luck,
KevinT
