GZ, Abby's comment was made on the day the DOW hit its lowest low in 1998. I think the DOW was near 7400 and everyone was talking about the next target being 6000. She said she still maintained her 9300 target before the end of the year....and got it . She actually called the bottom. Generally, I use her as a contrarian indicator but it seems to me that I would have been in error that time. By the way, have you noticed the volume on this thread? Have you noticed the new posters? Have you noticed the heavy bearish sentiment? I will go long DIA calls tomorrow if we get down to 9700 on the DOW. If we don't hit that target I will get long when we break the 10/14 high. I've got a line around 2525/2550 for the NASDAQ but since it is not close to it I will wait for other indicators to get positive before I get long on the QQQ. I don't want to get short here on it because I think what drop we have left is small in comparison to the rebound we may get from the bottom and that 2525/2550 area is the worst case bottom IMO for the moment.
