Its a fad, and passing faze. Shortin naked is not illegal in the US under certain exemptions , teh end result will be that several large investors will simply organize through the internet and form their own trading vehicles, so that they can compete with the Big Boys who control over 90% of all stock inventorya nd who uise this stock to short withoutr regard in the conduct of their business, however when anyopne else want to borrowe stock they give it to them eatrly on in a stocks rise and tehna s teh stock reaches lofty heights ..lo and behold there isnt anymore ..why because the big crim firms keep those shares for themselves.. explain how any normal avergae citizen is supposed to benefit financially when A turd like IVIL opens at 100 bucks a share, assuming the trent a favorite client of GSCO and didnt get IPO, the only thing you can do here in the states is to wacth it tank or buy it and lose money..Its teh ability to short without a aborrow thatmakes afair market.Almost never has there ever been a stock that was so shorted that it blew apart.. IRID was so heavily shorted, that noone could get a borrow and I was boughht in every day on some part of my size and I ghade to keep reselling it everyday ..until it file dBK.. That is how the market should work.Im at risk and I take that risk , knowingly.

Gilles Gauthier at Surveillance... on the Vancouver Stock Exchange did confirm by phone that the Canadian Brokerages will no longer handle "naked" and borrowed Shorts on OTC-BB's as of the 23rd October 1999, as it SHOULD BE, since it's illegal to do so in the USA... Take a rest and become Long in Stocks, NOT IN the TOOTH...
