I agree, and it shouldn't just float over his/her head like some weird statement. It may encourage him or her to ask a few questions. This asking may increase their knowledge and awareness of religion. The knowledge of religion and God, both pro and con, should be encouraged and not left silent like a nasty curse word not allowed to be spoken on the playground. Do you fear we might have a few more kids running around believing in God? I certainly don't, there's a lot more I am fearful of. Like kids growing up without a moral compass, who give as much thought to stabbing and raping their sister, as they do to stomping on an ant. I also believe there is a causal connection between the removal of God from our schools and the rising level of violence in our youth. Whether we understand all the feedback loops to this connection is unclear to me. But the connection appears to exist. Michael
