John--- It just adds to the thought of services being the way of the future. Companies like cpq will need to offer all these services but compete with others for them even if they supply the hardware, Buy a cpq box, use at&t as the isp/cable connection, someone else for support, even if cpq offers all of the above along with other services companies and individuals need to know they no one company has a lock on any services or supplies not just software... one of the things that hurt the rep of PB and cpq was the company specific components in the past...
