(I always wondered when someone would suggest WIND named its flagship product "Tornado" to help customers, partner and investors see the connection. In fact, WIND's Tornado beat the book to market, so joint use of the same name is a coincidence, unless Moore borrowed it from WIND.)

It's probably only a coincidene. Moore's tornado metaphor was chosen largely because it not only suggests increased rate of growth (hyperwinds) but also because it is so destructive; a tornado is good only for the ultimate gorilla because it actually hurts the remianing chimps. I doubt that Wind would name a product with the implication that it would hurt anyone.
