This is true, but one still needs to evaluate one's goals. Everyone has different needs, and mine, I am sure, are far removed from yours. Then, too, is this "fun money," "retirement money," what? With the Burger King scenario, one should also consider the possibility that the McDonald's down the street might have poor management or a roach problem. With Gap, this is a no-brainer. Classic clothes are always in. So you are then looking at a long term investment. Questions, questions.
