C, I take it that you think I don't understand the scriptures I referred to regarding the chosen few. I would truly appreciate your input and enlightenment. Perhaps I was condescending and patronizing. On the other hand, I wasn't trying to turn anyone on. I perceived others on this thread to be condescending and patronizing before I posted and just couldn't continue to let that haughtiness go without posting a rebuttal. Apology accepted, although I don't think I'm owed one. I was not attempting to point out that you or anyone you know is in error and headed for that cauldron of eternal, "Is it soup yet?" I was attempting to illustrate that there are few, if any, people that truly do what the Bible says. I'm not finding fault in anyone for not doing what the Bible says. I'm simply pointing out that I've never personally known anyone who adhered to the Bible's precepts. Most Christians I've known are pick-and-choosers when it comes to obeying the Word of God. They obey what fits their nature and ignore the rest. Did you post your most recent post to me because the Holy Spirit laid a burden upon your heart, or because you are a naturally good person who doesn't like conflict? I believe the latter. CC
