Nope, I have not, but perhaps others here have a better story. Nevertheless, I have been lucky enough to be in some strong stocks when the market has been down (and even strongly down); only an observation, but when the market turns around, those stocks tend to rise faster than the other stocks which have performed as the market has. This happens on a case-by-case basis tho.

[Conversely, I have also been in stocks that have done poorly when the market has done well, but I'll save that story for another day :-]
