Great post,

We are in a once in a century complete replacement of the global circuit infrastructure with packet transport.

While the downside can be ugly for "expensive stocks" the street is remarkably inept at appreciating long term growth in sectors like this.

Short term this stuff might be expensive, long term it's a lot cheaper than the large cap blue chips.

OT: Agree with you conceptually on the biotechs, but I'm getting increasingly fearful of a luddite like movement against genetic engineering and biotech.

Have you seen the recent anti-gm advertising? A wildly important sector from a scientific standpoint, but the economic progress and global benefits could be crushed by the radical left.

In tech, there are some software infrastructure plays that mirror the power of the networking/telecom plays we've been discussing too, btw. I don't discuss them here on SI, since it seems SI is dying in those sectors, but they are neat companies too.

Don't want to "advertise" so if you care, send me a pm.

Thanks for the analysis. Actually I'm short this one. Nothing really against the stock -- more of a hedge for the market.
