JG, if VIX is not leading in nature, then why does it reach very low levels prior to declines? why does it reach very high levels prior to rallies? please educate me or have I been misreading this nearly flawless leading indicator in the last five years? you call it concurrent I call it leading it is roughly 35 for 35 in its leading correct calls in my experience... sometimes it is tough to tell that it has finally hit extreme... in which case you can be rather confident that the "turn" is very close at hand you are a stubborn nut are you sure you are not from New England? / Jim
