Margin accounts are potential trouble from what I can see, with naked shorting from Canada being a second major problem that is being corrected aggressively from the US side with co-operation from the Vancouver exchange (they already fired one broker and one analyst). Supposedly tomorrow, Monday 10-18-99, all remaining open naked shorts will be covered by the exchange if the members do not do it first, unless they give account and request an extension and it is granted. This could be a very interesting day for a lot of BB's that have been hit by bashers and shorters in the past, as they will have to cover, like it or not. Let's see which BB's move/have moved the best over the +/- 5 day range or so. This is quite a move toward higher accountability against illegal practices of shorting BB's, and should remove some of the 'easy bash easy money' mentalities and motivations of the past. The only value bashing will now provide is a lower entry point, not the one two punch of buy-pump, sell and short-bash cycle I am sure many have grown accustomed to loving.

OK, Thanks. I do have a margin account, and margin quite often. But, Charles Schwab told me that PNLK stock can not be shorted. I will ask again this morning. Thanks for your help.
