What does 'logging' mean. Are the ELH stocks going to tank tomorrow? Someone over on SH said it could take up to a year to resume drilling. What am I missing here. Please somebody set the record straight.

I guess I am late entering this play again. The easy money has been made.

Help. I'm a novice investor.

When I heard they were logging, I asked a friend of mine who works for Hydril and has a lot of experience with wells both here in Alberta and out at Hibernia, why someone would run logs before reaching TD and he figured they probably weren't seeing what they were expecting and that they might be off target. He figured they might be putting a gyro down hole and trying to do some satellite positioning in order to steer the drilling. However, I think Taff's explanation is more plausible at this point. I think they're just being very cautious - there's something very big down that hole!
