MG, That's Going to Be an Interesting Question,

Or, at least the response. What happens at YTDzero?. We should find out this week!

I have noticed that supplying the Phleet while it is in port has gotten a little more expensive per ship; but, I seem to have fewer ships, so the relative cost got cheaper. The point being is that sending the Phleet out prematurely cost me a good 12% of my ships in the subsequent rough water. Where are those meteorologists when you need them?

Some more tuition paid to the Investment Institute of Higher Learning. There are times that the risks require one to eat the potential erosion of purchasing power. I humbly suggest that, except for short excursions from the port, this is one of those periods. With the Fed and the Market suggesting higher rates in the midst of questionable inflation and, possibly, global deflation, one should assume a direct attack and not fight the Fed.

Last October, I was captured in a loss position at the best buying opportunity. I'm not going to repeat that mistake. IMHO this market is dead meat until the Fed goes to the sidelines and/or Y2K proves to be the non-event of recent memory. The good news is that I believe that next year is going to a great year for the equity markets. We just need to get from here to there without too much TA damage.

I've just never seen 90% of the Big Boyz on a weekly sell signal. It seems significant! Only JT has been able to consistently get the bottom. Without the benefit of his input, I'll stay close to home until I witness an improvement in BAMBI.
