Do you MSFT watchers have any idea what MSFT's numbers might look like for the past quarter?
They report on Tuesday.

Thanks---Peter

Pardon my ignorance of the subject but ......

if MSFT is developing some killer version of embedded CE that is ready for release soon, shouldn't there already be beta copies out and thoroughly reviewed by the industry by now?

Karim,

It is hard to argue that Microsoft's buying of WRS or 3Com is a monopolistic act. Microsoft can claim buying 3Com as an entrance into the networking market. The embedded market has been highly segmented. Even our favorite, WRS, doesn't own a major portion of it. Microsoft can also argue that because of the nature of the embedded market, one can never be a monopoly.

I don't see the court or the DOJ playing a major role, but rather, the industry. Intel will bit against anyone for WRS, and Nokia will bit against anyone for 3Com.
