Also, from recent posts, you are creating a system for Pristine that sounds very nice. Do both of these systems use a points-based approach?

Virtually all of the alerts will come with a score that attempts to quantify how well that particular opportunity meets the perfect criteria for the the trading system of the alert triggered. The score also reflects the risk involved in the particular opportunity, based on how far away the appropriate stop loss point is for that entry point. In addition, you will have a filter to be notified of only alerts meeting a certain minimum score which you select.

What are your thoughts about trade rate as a primary or supporting indicator? Anyone else?

I have never used trade rate as a primary indicator. I do use is as a screen to find a group of liquid, tradable stocks. It does a good job of showing 'where the action is'.

Good luck,
-Eric
