Michael, I have heard that same comment many times when I press the issue. It's usually something like " Well I don't actually read it, but I know what it says." No you don't. You know what the Bible spin doctors say that it says. I also wanted my son to read the Bible. Not the Ebrah begat Bulza that begat Niphrad stuff. I think that can be safely skipped, but the meaty stuff, like what animals to sacrifice for certain sins, what booty you should take when you slaughter the people in a city, how to treat your slave, etc. He is also an Atheist. Most Atheists that I know have read it pretty well. You still are avoiding the prayer issue, Michael. Do you think that Christians should obey Jesus, and pray only in private? It's a real simple yes or no question. Del
