Hi John,..Re:.ranting of a bear that hasn't been fed in a while....

LOL!! Good summary John. Don't we need all this negative sentiment to explode upwards?<gg> I think in the past it has been shown that when everyone else is bailing, that's the ideal time to be buying?<g>
We have some nice sales going on now too!<g>

Cheers,

Lee

Are these playoffs slated to go 6 or 7 games? For city and vendor revenues? Bobby (Cox) made some bad decisions last night imho.<g> How come in the Astros game and one of the Mets games, he used Millwood and Smoltzie to close things out yet left a rookie on the mound last night?

john -
I thought hdl's post was just a comprehensive list of every argument made in the last year about why DELL's hypergrowth is in the past - rather than an attempt to present a case.

I thought it was amusing, interesting and covered the range from possible to absurd quite nicely.

Kind of like those lists on the joke thread - 50 questions to see if you are a real engineer (an extroverted engineer looks at the other guy's shoes when he is talking...)

Sir John: I have seen the enemy.

I is the enemy. I got hit where it hurts at 40.625.

In case I won't make it, I want my body cremated and my shares held in trust. :)

Say a prayer for me, please.

Adieu,

Mick $$$

Competitors will finally be able to compete with Dell. Dell doesn't have assets, patents, technology that prevents others from finally successfully competing. JRI,You left that one out of your response. Then, the IBM earthshaking news came.
