I can hardly contain myself. Now we have a real company with broader/deeper science and real money.

Furthermore, note that the additional shares that GENZ now has will be disposed of to financial or strategic investors, or in a public offering in 2000. Distribution as a dividend to existing GENZ shareholders as before is the last resort, thereby reducing the risk of the institutional dumping we had before. Guess what would happen to the price of GZMO if someone like Japan Tobacco or some US pharmaceutical company bought these shares? I would bet that is the first choice from GZMO point of view.

In my opinion, when you compare the science and the cash positions it is hard not to believe that GZMO now should have a higher market cap than ENMD.

>> Pick 4 1/2, and the 60M is 13.3M shares. <<

I got a couple of private messages saying "huh?".

What I meant was..... at Friday's close, one would have had to sell about 13.3 million shares to raise just the 60M. We (shareholders) got the CEGE assets and the cash for 12.5 million shares.

Hope that's clear this time.

It will be very interesting to see the design of the ATIII trials. Any Regulatory types out there who see a good reason that GZMO/GZTC shouldn't be out talking with FDA BMY and PGNX, all at the same time? I am not nuts about GMK, but...... if it's approved, it seems like Agouron and GZMO should be climbing all over the op to test combined therapies. It also seems that FDA should be flexible and fast to smile upon such concepts.
