LU down below 58 now. Very tempting. UIS down too. Even more tempting. Put in buy orders just below where they are. Seems like a no-brainer. Checked out NT a little. Seems too close to its 52 week high for me. I like to get 'em when they're unfairly battered. But I'll keep watching NT.

Bebe just named #2 best small company in America by Forbes. Still a screaming bargain considering it's boffo earnings. ANF's bad insider move took Bebe down in sympathy for no reason. Bebe is hotter than ANF right now with the customers. But both are buys. Urbn too.

Rande- re:HEAR news...

Hi Rande,

I downloaded the HEAR client and test drove it... wow! Hearing somebody actually say my handle was quite a shock! The quality was horrible, but it was different actually hearing somebody's voice.

I am thinking of a similar paradigm shift, and Graphical Interfaces replacing text based interfaces comes to mind... GUIs have replaced text based systems, except in certain instances, like chat. And, I think it is with good reason.

I am not convinced this is going to be revolutionary in the obvious...that is it won't replace text-chat... too much is lost. Real time voice chat trades off verbal quantity, simultaneousness and expiration for non-verbal information.

One way it might be really great- free phone calls, although it would not be two way... only one person could speak at a time. Because of this possibility, Hear might become a great all purpose chat site... find someone in a room you want to talk with one-on-one, create a room and talk. It will throw phone sex into the stratosphere. Small time sex-industry operators will definitely start their own businesses out of this, no?... the infrastructure is all there for nothing.

What are your thoughts?

Just my opinion.

Jon :)
