This posting is to you and to all the posters who are getting mean and personal. I am not appointing myself a thread "boss" when I say that I am appalled at what is happening on this thread. We used to be a group of friends that could enjoy rational disagreements and share insights. There were some pitched battles, but they were usually moderated by respect for one another. The current tone of the thread is bringing out a current of nastiness that repels me personally and intellectually. I am beginning to feel out of place on a thread where I used to feel at home.
