RE: Vixel Corporation (Nasdaq: VIXL) Oct 1 open in the 50's first days of trading. Same business as Brocade. Coming off IPO quiet period next week.

This is the IPO info on OCT 1st:

It announced it has commenced an initial public offering of 4,300,000 shares of Common Stock at $18.00 per share.

The shares are being offered through underwriters led by BancBoston
Robertson Stephens Inc., Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. and Needham &
Company, Inc. The Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 645,000 shares of Common Stock to cover
over-allotments, if any.
