Westell Invites Public to Earnings Call, Features Conference Plus, Inc.'s IP Interactive Broadcast

Interactive Webcast Featured in Call Open to Entire Public


LOMBARD, Ill., Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Conference Plus, Inc. (CPI), a Westell Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: WSTL - news) subsidiary, continuing its
position as an innovator in IP conferencing and support services, announced that it will again showcase its IP interactive broadcast services during Westell
Technologies' second quarter FY2000 earnings call. The call is scheduled on Thursday, October 21 at 5:00 PM, EDT for analysts, shareholders, investors
and the public.

Westell's CPI subsidiary will offer its IP broadcast product, leveraging the power of the Internet, to deliver live, secure, interactive content as part of the
Westell Technologies earnings call. The Westell Earnings Call represents CPI's ability to host data and voice networks as they provide this application.

The live earnings call will be available to the public who can register the day of the call. Participants can join for the voice and/or the data portion of the call
by following the instructions below. Participants must separately register for each portion and for the IP broadcast, a software download is necessary. The
synchronized call will be archived on Westell's home page, www.westell.com .
