As LU starts selling more abroad this is expected to happen. To ship, install, commission and support is established in the US.
But when you have to deploy abroad, you have customs clearances, lack of able project management, etc.

And then there are those local companies that LU buys or join abroad. Regardless they help you clich the deal, they want to benefit form it as well. There are guys there who meddle or have 'favorite' subcontractors to pass on some jobs, lots of Mr. Fix it... (15 years abroad doing that stuff, was part of my work dealing with the bones of implementing projects.)

Hey, you have to translate that documentation in the local languages.

Brian and others. Why couldn't they wait until October 26, 1999 when they report the earnings to do better analysis of the balance sheet.

It is very simple. These pimps at the Street.com were hired by shorts to do the damage now, as they know the reality. The reality is LU is going report improved cash flow, decrease of inventories, decrease in DSOs this quarter with a bullish outlook. They want to take advantage of this uncertain period and scare the weak fund managers.

It is very simple. If they really want to service the investors, they would wait until the earnings are released. This explains the reasons for timing of this type of article. ANother reason is this type of shit works better when there is negative sentiment.
