Really, Neocon, don't be such an ideologue! ;-)

You asked me for my opinion on what YOU call "controversial" choices. Well, my opinion is that if you do NOT include Keynes, your list will not be worth the paper -- oops, the screen -- it is written on.

Virtually EVERYONE agrees that Hitler was "destructive." (Although Lather would argue that Nazism had its constructive side, in that it elicited anti-Nazi responses.)

But anyone who argues that Keynes was "destructive" is definitely taking a minority view. Accept the fact that Keynsianism was/is "controversial," but don't downgrade its influence & importance.
