Lizzie, At ML (per my FC), if a stock is ordinarily marginable and over $10 there are no special margin requirements. BTW, under the asset-based Unlimited Advantage plan your option trades would be commission-free.

lizzie, sad but true: there is no free lunch. Many of us - William, Mark, you, me, have been very fortunate. And will be soon enough again, I believe. I am thankful to be sitting here posting in my modest Eichler on a lovely tree-lined street in a wonderful community.

As long as Jan is having a fab time on Waikiki, I'm happy as a clam! :-)
