So we speculate on likely candidates, but which one would likely do us most good? Both short term in market reaction and long term in what they really end up doing with the technology.

Will the announcement of the actual sale (as opposed to the pre-announcement) affect us much, or is the anticipation already factored in? Would a particular buyer drive the price wildly up? Could any buyer drive it down. OR will the sale perhaps seem anti-climatic in that is preannounced?
Ho Hum Nokia bought it, everybody comes out and said they always thought it would.

Would Europe come over faster if a European company held the handset division?

Just wondering it's better than watching the ticker today.

HP is also already in the handheld device biz, I think. Don't they have a Palm-type device? That would be a good synergy. Sorry if my memory from walking through the stores is wrong.
