As an internet server OS, Free BSD is actually quite superior to Solaris, as the IP stack is even faster. We use it at my web hosting company.

Hmm.. well, even if the media received your press release, I don't think that explains why we're down today.

What *is this? Is there really that much angst about the CPI? Is it just because it's "October"?

This is really putting a damper on the whole Octoberfest thing.

FreeBSD doesn't scale, though. You can't grow your enterprise
with it at all. It's strictly for small shops. The price is
right, though.
