You think I'm joking, but not really. Recently Bill Bonanno wrote that Johnny Rosselli shot Kennedy. Bonanno's father Joe "Bananas" Bonanno was the mob boss who was the basis for the "Godfather". Johnny Rosselli worked for the MPAA in the 1930's to break up strikes from the Hollywood IATSE union. Rosselli was convicted along with other Chicago mob leaders of extorting from all the MPAA studios in 1943. Rosselli testified about his work for the MPAA at the Kefauver hearings in 1950. Rosselli later worked with the CIA to assassinate Fidel Castro, which is well documented. Rosselli reported to Sam Giancana.

There's a Cube connection here through Paul Ziffren. Ziffren was a law partner/ protege and relative of Colonel Jake Arvey. Arvey was an original member of the so-called "Capone block" of political bosses in Chicago. Arvey's mob ties were investigated during the 1950 Kefauver Hearings on Organized Crime. Arvey was the mentor of 1952 and 1956 Democratic Presidential nominee Adlai Stevenson. Paul Ziffren moved from Chicago to Los Angeles where he bank rolled the Democratic Party. Ziffren hosted the 1960 Democratic convention in Los Angeles which nominated John Kennedy. In July 1960 Reader's Digest exposed Ziffren's ties to Arvey and speculated that Ziffren's bankroll originated with the Chicago mob. Interestingly, we don't hear that as much as all the nonsense about Giancana and Judith Exner. The reason you don't hear about it is Ziffren's close friend Sidney Korshak controlled all the MPAA studios on behalf of the mob. Korshak was able to influence what ended up in the papers. Another close friend of Ziffren and Korshak was Lew Wasserman who remains a major fund raiser. Paul Ziffren dropped out of politics after 1960 although he was involved in the 1984 Olympics and had close ties to Ronald Reagan. It was Ziffren's nephew who came up with the idea for Divx. If all this sounds interesting to you I've actually written a book about it.
