Well, personally, I don't want to argue about whether somebody's influence is/was "negative" or "positive." I am perfectly capable of recognizing that someone had a great deal of influence, whether I think he/she deserved to have it or not.

It seems to me that the real toughie is determining who in fact has had the MOST influence. What exercises ME is the possibility that someone might actually think that Imogene Coca ranks right up there with Nelson Mandela, in terms of long-term impact on society.
