Netscape Canada President Joins Salient Cybertech Board
SARASOTA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 20, 1999--Salient Cybertech, Inc. (OTCBB: SLEL - news) announced today that Netscape Communications Canada president and founder Todd Finch has joined the board of directors of Salient Cybertech, Inc.

Mr. Finch was instrumental in developing Canada's Internet infrastructure, NetCenter portal strategy, the e-commerce infrastructure for Netscape worldwide, and the Sun-Netscape Alliance of parent America On Line (NYSE: AOL - news) and Sun Microsystems (NASDAQ: SUNW - news).

During his 4-1/2 year tenure at Netscape, he became interested in the SWIFT(TM) distance learning technology of Gemini Learning Systems, which was recently acquired by Salient Cybertech. Mr. Finch has stock and options that make him one of Salient Cybertech's major shareholders.
