yeah, it really is, Berney. 'Course, as you said - there's still some earnings churnings going on, not everyone is obsessing over BONDS.

I assume that some folks, who perhaps missed the last -10% dip will nibble here; I already did that so, gotta stick to the script and not buy "2x" more until SnP goes down more.

OTOH, if there is an accelerating pattern of equity fund withdrawals, I assume that the MM will be motivated to sell some "winners" for cash liquidity - most of which remain on the NDX-100 side of the BigBoy coin... perhaps that's why we see some apparent divergence in the NDX and OEX -?

I dunno, dude... I'm not so sure I care all that much, either {grin} Downside, dip-buying investing is brutally simple. I do F/A on both sides of the BigBoy coin, NDX-100 and OEX-100. I wait for SnP tide to lower all the boats. I accumulate stocks (or, sell PUTs). I wait for SnP tide to lower all the boats, even more. I accumulate even more stocks. When there's an apparent, "JT exhaustion selloff", and subsequent, apparent growth - I'll leverage the bellwethers with LEAPS.

All I care about is beating the OEX+NDX BigBoy index benchmark; else, I wouldn't be picking stocks in the first place, doing F/A; I'd just buy SPY+QQQ ( though GE+CSCO is damn tempting :)

This is the time for F/A... there's not much T/A involved; just horizontal lines, triggers to accumulate in ever increasing amounts.

If you and I were advising someone else, we'd tell them to buy SPY+QQQ right now - today; buy more (pyramid) every -5% drop, perhaps, from here... looking at SPY 105 +/-1 = -25% from 16-JULY TOP as a possible downside extent, prepared (with reserves) for SPY 90~95 = -35% as a worst-case scenario. If the strategic reserve for SPY < 100 turns out to not be necessary, we'd tell them to either keep it in BONDS or, use it to leverage SPY+QQQ with LEAPS. We could enter all the orders today, and go to Paris - in fact (^_^) why am I here ?

Hammer on OEX-100 today; they bought the dip.
