Dear Lizzie
Your point is very good re interesting interaction. There are times in a relationship between two people (and I don't necessarily mean a partner type relationship) when the mundane and boring needs to be said. OR there are times that what is being said is interesting to the speaker and not to the listener. I guess this is a time for tolerance and understanding.
